Talk about ths # 3

1. Passion
Being passionate in a paper shows the writer cares that much more about a subject. Few people are convinced by a paper that doesn't show some sort of passion or emotional attachment. Whether it be a love or hate view towards the subject, people like to know that there is some connection between the writer and their topic. This makes it easier for the reader to have an opinion on the matter. How can a writer ask someone care about a topic when they themselves don't care.
In my paper I would like to pick a topic that i have strong feelings for so I could show that I care about what I'm saying, so to make it easier for the reader to be persuaded by me.

2. Showing opposing side
Showing the opposing side in a paper helps readers better value the topic that is to be persuaded. People like to compare and contrast things to make decisions and opinions. So in showing two sides a writer is able to sway its reader in a slight way by choosing what he/she is telling you. Reading a paper and having it tell me what is right or expected for me to think without giving me another view to consider just makes me irritated. So for these reasons when I write papers I like to show the opposition.

3. Sense of Humor
Demonstrating humor in a paper is strategically smart because people like to smile and laugh. When readers can laugh and crack a smile while reading they remember it and it helps them remember the paper and the points made. Its not always easy to make a topic humorous so in doing that writers make their paper memorable and not just heavy in emotion. In the paper I would like to use humor because it can convince readers that I'm serious but there is a light side to every subject.

4.Factual information
Factual information is used in many papers because its not always enough to give the writers opinion and maybe his or her friends. Readers like to hear and see results. To say that the company is doing better this month isn't enough, there needs to be factual information backing up what was done better. Showing charts and visual results can help.
In my paper i think I would like to show facts through number or percentages as to helps the reader get a better grasp on how the topic is getting better or worse.

5.Examples
When writing a paper sometimes factual information isn't always enough because reader wants examples of the information. For example, in Proactive commercials there are testimonials from the individuals that used it the product showing their before and after pictures. Proactive does give us number on how many people the product has worked on but people still like to see evidence. With this example i just demonstrated how examples do have a great significance in a paper. This is why i would like to use an example in the paper i right. Examples just make it easier for readers to believe and understand the topic of which your talking about.
